The Truth About Men: Tracy Byrd with Blake Shelton.

We don't like to go out shoppin',
We don't care what's on sale.
We just want to sit with a bag full of chips,
Watchin' the NFL.
When you come over at half-time,
An' say: "Does this dress fit too tight?"
We just look you in the eye with a big fat lie,
An say:"Uh, uh: Looks just right."

Well, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about us.
We like to hunt and golf on our days off,
    Scratch, an' spit, an cuss.
It don't matter what line we hand you,
    When we come draggin' in.
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.

We hate watchin' "Steel Magnolias".
We like "Rambo" an' "Die Hard 4".
Jump up and down like fools when we see the new tools,
At the Home Depot store.
We don't really wanna take you to dinner,
At some fancy restaurant.
The only reason we do is 'cause we know it leads to,
The one thing that we all want.

Well, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about guys.
We'd rather play guitars and work on cars,
Than work on the problems in our lives.
An' though we might say it to you,
    Every now and then,
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.

Well, if you want to know what we're all thinkin',
      It's nothing too complex.
It's just somethin' cold for drinkin',
And a whole lot of s-e......

Yes, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about us.
We like to hunt and golf an' drive around, lost,
Scratch, an' spit, an' a whole lot of other disgustin' stuff.
It don't matter what line we hand you,
    When we come a-crawlin' in.
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.

We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
    An' it's probably gonna happen;
    Sure, it's gonna happen;
You know it's gonna happen again.
An' that's the truth about men.

    You know it, son.

My Front Porch Looking In: Lonestar.

Oooh yeah. Whooo, yeah.Oh, yeah.

The only ground I ever owned was stickin' to my shoes.
Now I look out my front porch at this panoramic view.
I can sit an' watch the fields fill up with rays of golden sun.
I watch the moon lay on the fences like that where it was hung.
My blessings are in front of me, it's not about the land.
I'll never beat the view from my front porch, looking in.

There's a carrot top that can barely walk,,
With a sippy cup of milk.
A little blue-eyed blonde with shoes on wrong,
'Cause she likes to dress herself.
The most beautiful girl holding both of them:
Yeah, the view I love the most is my front porch, lookin' in.
    Yeah.

I've travelled here and everywhere followin' my job.
I've the seen the painting's from the air, brushed by the hand of God.
The mountains and the canyons reach from sea to shinin' sea.
But I can't wait to get back home to the one he made for me.
'Cause anywhere I'll ever go and everywhere I've been,
Nothin' takes my breath away like my front porch, lookin' in.

There's a carrot top that can barely walk,
With a sippy cup of milk.
A little blue-eyed blonde with shoes on wrong,
'Cause she likes to dress herself.
An' the most beautiful girl holding both of them:
Yeah, the view I love the most is my front porch, lookin' in.

Instrumental break.

I see what beautiful is about,
When I'm lookin' in, not when I'm lookin' out.

There's a carrot top that can barely walk,
With a sippy cup of milk.
A little blue-eyed blonde with shoes on wrong,
'Cause she likes to dress herself.
An' the most beautiful girl holding both of them:
    Now, the view I love the most;
Oh, the view I love the most,
Is my front porch, lookin' in.

Oh, there's a carrot top that can barely walk,
(From my front porch, lookin' in.)
A little blue-eyed blonde with shoes on wrong, yeah.
    The most beautiful girl,
(From my front porch, lookin' in.)
    Holding both of them.
    Whoa, yeah.

Stay Gone - - By: Jimmy Wayne (Jimmy Wayne/Bill Kirsch) I found piece of mind I'm feeling good again I'm on the other side Back among the living Ain't a cloud in the sky All my tears have been cried And I can finally say So baby, baby stay Stay right where you are I like it this way It's good for my heart I haven't felt like this In God knows how long I know everything's gonna be okay If you just stay gone I still love you and I will forever We can't hide the truth We know each other better When we try to make it work We both end up hurt And it ain't supposed to be that way So baby, baby stay Stay right where you are I like it this way It's good for my heart I haven't felt like this In God knows how long I know everything's gonna be okay If you just stay gone When you try to make it work We both end up hurt Love ain't supposed to be this way So baby, baby stay Stay right where you are I like it this way It's good for my heart I haven't felt like this In God knows how long I know everything's gonna be okay If you just stay gone I know everything's gonna be okay If you just stay gone

Song: Lean On Me
Artist: Bill Withers

Sometimes, in our lives
We all have pain, we all have sorrow
But, if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on
For, it won't be long
Til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on

Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill
Those of your needs that you won't let show

You just call on me brother when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'll understand
We all need somebody to lean on

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on
For, it won't be long
Til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on

You just call on me brother when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'll understand
We all need somebody to lean on

If there is a load
You have to bear, that you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load if you just call me
Call me if you need a friend
Call me ...

What A Beautiful Day: Chris Cagle.

Day one, I stumbled through "Hello" on Fifth Avenue.
Day two, we grabbed a bite to eat and talked all afternoon.
We caught a movie on day 14.
And day 67, she said: "I love you," to me.

    Oh, what a feeling,
    What a wonderful emotion.
    Yeah, what a life,
    Counting my blessings and knowing,
Mmmm, we had our ups and downs,
    All along the way.
She had a chance to leave but chose to stay.
    What a beautiful day.
    What a beautiful day.

Day 116, I asked her what she was doing for the rest of my life.
Day 189, oh, I almost lost that girl to my foolish pride.
She said: "I do" on day 482.
And gave me a son on day 761.

    Oh, what a feeling,
    What a wonderful emotion.
    Yeah, what a life,
    Counting my blessings and knowing,
Mmmm, we had our ups and downs,
    All along the way.
She had a chance to leave but chose to stay.
    What a beautiful day.

Instrumental Break.

      Day 18,253; well, honey, that's 50 years.
Yeah, here's to you and me!

    Oh, what a feeling,
    What a wonderful emotion.
    Yeah, what a life,
    Counting my blessings and knowing,
Mmm,  we had our ups and downs,
    All along the way.
She had a chance to leave but chose to stay.
    What a beautiful day.
    What a beautiful day.

Day one, I thank God I said "hello" on Fifth Avenue.

Three Wooden Crosses - - Randy Travis A farmer and a teacher, a hooker and a preacher, Ridin' on a midnight bus bound for Mexico. One's headed for vacation, one for higher education, An' two of them were searchin' for lost souls. That driver never ever saw the stop sign. An' eighteen wheelers can't stop on a dime. There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway, Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows. I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you, It's what you leave behind you when you go. That farmer left a harvest, a home and eighty acres, The faith an' love for growin' things in his young son's heart. An' that teacher left her wisdom in the minds of lots of children: Did her best to give 'em all a better start. An' that preacher whispered: "Can't you see the Promised Land?" As he laid his blood-stained bible in that hooker's hand. There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway, Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows. I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you, It's what you leave behind you when you go. That's the story that our preacher told last Sunday. As he held that blood-stained bible up, For all of us to see. He said: "Bless the farmer, and the teacher, an' the preacher; "Who gave this Bible to my mamma, "Who read it to me." There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway, Why there's not four of them, now I guess we know. It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you, It's what you leave behind you when you go. There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway.
